Aimed at Media Server Operators, this instructor led course for PIXERA Software and Hardware lays the foundation of PIXERA's ease of use and powerful capabilities.
In this AV Stumpfl PIXERA Operator Training, participants will be introduced to the key aspects of working with the popular PIXERA media server platform for professional AV projects. In addition to covering the foundations of PIXERA, this three-day course will equip participants with the skills needed for more complex workflow scenarios. Each participant will have their own allocated training kit, maximising the learning experience.
The Official Operator Training is the perfect introduction to the versatile world of our acclaimed real-time media processing, compositing, and management system. Combining direct instruction with practical exercises, the course will guide participants through the setup of a live event, from design to final playout. Participants will come away from the training with a solid understanding of both the software and hardware capabilities and workflow.
Day 1 Structure:
Day one is an introduction to PIXERA, covering its main features, including the PIXERA Hub and its user interface, as well as the Screens, Mapping, and Compositing tabs within the PIXERA GUI.
Screens:
How to add Displays / LED / Projection Screens. Using the inspector tab to inform and transform the layout of your project.
Mapping:
Routing outputs the simple way. What options do you have on your local machine. Quick Output Activating / Deactivating
Compositing:
How to add new resources and why we use preview files (proxies)
Timeline overview covering: Layer Options, Playback Modes, Keyframes, Cues, Live Inputs, Effects Engine, Adding PiPs, Audio playback
LED Output Mapping.
Projector Mapping / Warping / Softedge blending
Day 2 Structure:
We will begin building a corporate event, incorporating troubleshooting based on the knowledge gained from Day 1.
